The Major Scale

The major scale is familiar to most people, when it is sung as " Do, re, me, fah , soh, la, te, Do,"
In this form, its proper name is the diatonic major scale, but is more often simply called "the major" scale. The scale, has 8 notes and spans 1 octave. It is always organised into the following pattern of tones and semi tones.
